A Natural Partnership
Did you know FGB Natural Products and its flagship brand Bosisto’s are proud partners with the Royal Botanic Gardens (RBG)?
We’re lovers of nature, and eucalypts are an iconic Australian native species, but our links go much deeper and much further back than that. All the way back to 1852, in fact!
This article recently featured in the RBG Cranbourne’s publication Floreo. We thought you might be interested to have a read - it highlights the historical links between our respective founders, Joseph Bosisto and Baron Ferdinand Von Mueller, and the fantastic partnership RBG and Bosisto’s have today.
We're especially proud of our part in the development of the beautiful Australian Gardens at Cranbourne RBG, in particular the 'Eucalypt Walk' for which we helped create signage. For info about FGB's sponsorship activities, click here http://www.fgb.com.au/about/sponsorship or visit the RBG Cranbourne website at http://www.rbg.vic.gov.au/visit-cranbourne.
And don’t forget, on these school holidays your local Royal Botanic Garden is the perfect place to visit with the family, with a host of (usually free) activities on offer. Visit the Royal Botanic Gardens website in your state for more details.
Water-wise: Bosisto's donates Euca Mulch to RBG
Cranbourne for use on their gardens. An attractive
(and fragrant!) ground cover,
it also keeps soil moist, reducing
the need for watering in summer.
Euca Mulch is a natural by-product
of the eucalyptus harvesting process.
