How to get sticky residue off jars

‘Reduce, re-use and recycle’ is the mantra as families everywhere are creating new habits that help the earth.

Glass food jars are one of those cool ‘reusables’ with loads of handy purposes – store pens, nails or paintbrushes, meal-prep your smoothies or overnight oats, or make your own DIY jams or chutney.

But old sticky labels aren’t always the look we’re after.  So how to quickly remove them?

Here’s our no-fuss, no-soak solution!

  1. Peel off as much of the label as you can
  2. Put Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil on a clean cloth
  3. Dab eucalyptus oil generously over the sticky residue
  4. Leave for at least 15 minutes to dissolve the sticky bonds.
  5. Wipe off with paper towel. If you prefer, wash off with warm water.

And you’re done.  This is just one of the ways Eucalyptus oil can get you out of Sticky Situations.  Click here to find out more!
