Is it suitable to use in grey water/ septic systems?
Yes.
Are your plastic bottles recyclable?
Yes, our bottles are made from a HDPE plastic, which is fully recyclable in Australia. Our bottle is also made from 30% recycled material.
What evidence do you have for your sensitive skin claims?
Our laundry liquid has been independently tested on human volunteers in a repeat insult patch test. Participants reported no sensitivity or irritation throughout the trial, including those who identified as having sensitive skin.
Why is there no spout on the product anymore?
This change was made as part of our commitment, as an Australian manufacturer, to reducing our environmental footprint. Removing the spout reduces our plastic consumption by approximately 4.5 tonnes per year.
Removing the spout also makes the bottle a better quality recyclable. The spout was made of Poly Propylene (PP) plastic, as opposed to the High Density Polyethylene (HPDE) of the bottle. Although both types are recyclable within Australia, the spout reduced the overall value of the recycled plastic due to the mixing of resin types and the introduction of two colours into the recycling stream.
The product retains the handle plus the dosage cap to ensure an easy and convenient way to wash. Extensive in-use product testing was undertaken to ensure the packaging is still fit for purpose.
As members of the Australian Packaging Covenant (APCO) we are constantly reviewing our packaging to ensure we are reducing our environmental footprint while maintaining a high quality product.
