Eucalyptus oil is a natural cleaner, freshener, degreaser and germ killer… not to mention the incredible scent. This naturally derived wonder is so versatile, it’s great for cleaning almost every area of the home.
Ready to start your eucalyptus cleaning journey? Here are our top 5 favourite recipes.
You’ll need:
2 cups of baking soda
2/3 cup citric acid
50mL Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil*
25mL water
Silicone molds
Instructions:
In a glass bowl, mix together the baking soda and citric acid. In a separate jug,combine the eucalyptus oil and water. Slowly incorporate the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. Using a teaspoon, scoop out and press into mold. Let the fizzies dry in the mold overnight. Carefully remove and place in an airtight container or jar.
Store in a cool dry place. Use one fizzie as needed, let dissolve before flushing.

You’ll need:
½ cup hot water
1 cup water
1/3 cup white vinegar
1-2 teaspoons of Bosisto’s Dishwashing Liquid
3 capfuls of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil*
2 heaped teaspoons of Lectric Soda (washing soda)
A 500mL spray bottle
Funnel
Instructions:
Put Lectric soda in the spray bottle and add hot water to dissolve. Add eucalyptus oil and other remaining ingredients. Shake to mix thoroughly.

You’ll need:
1 cup distilled water
¼ cup rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol)
¼ cup white vinegar
1 capful Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil*
A 500mL spray bottle
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in the spray bottle, shake to combine. Use mixture on windows, mirrors and stainless steel. Wipe off with paper towels or newspaper for a streak-free finish. Discard remainder when finished. Not suitable for heat treated or tinted glass.

20-30 drops of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil*
½ cup Baking Soda
A container with a tight fitting lid
Instructions:
Mix together the Epsom salts and essential oil first, then add the baking soda. Mix well until all combined and pour into the container. Use 2-3 tablespoons for each load, where you would normally use fabric softener.

15mL (approx 2 capfuls or 1 tablespoon) of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil*
Silicone mold
Spatula or spoon to mix
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine citric acid and cornflour. In a small cup, mix the water and essential oil. Pour the liquid into the citric acid mix and begin to stir. It may bubble slightly. Mix until evenly combined. Press the mixture into silicone mold and use the spoon to press in firmly. Leave in mold overnight to dry. In the morning, pop the steamers out and store in an airtight jar.
To use, toss one steamer on the floor of your shower. As it melts, the aroma will be released.

An all-time fan favourite, this DIY is one of our most loved cleaning hacks – and for good reason! These fizzies are easy to make, and are a wonderfully eco-friendly alternative to keep your toilet deodorised.You’ll need:
